The Gastein Valley has its own microclimate, standardized weather reports are unable to capture this and therefore report up to 75% inaccurate. Announced spells of bad weather usually come with a delay (up to a whole day), are usually less intense and often last shorter. Good weather usually comes much earlier.

Our tip: Don’t let the weather forecast influence you when planning your holiday activities, just look at the sky 🙂

Rule of thumb: It will be 70% nicer than the weather report says.
